Lacet House

Lacet House is situated in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1.6 km away.

The rooms at the property each feature a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, along with private or en suite bathroom facilities. Many boast impressive views of the countryside. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

In the mornings, the Lacet House serves cooked breakfast, featuring spicy Cumberland sausage. Vegetarian and lighter options are also available. The dining room has been thoughtfully decorated to reflect the atmosphere of a traditional English tearoom. In summer, guests can enjoy breakfast in the garden.

Lacet House offers free guest passes for the local spa, gym and leisure centre. THe passes allow 2 guests use of the facilities for up to 2 hours. The leisure centre features a fully equipped gym, two saunas, hot tub and 15 m heated swimming pool. Guests are welcome to use the passes more than once during their stay and can also participate in fitness classes, subject to availability.

Ambleside offers numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, within a 5-minute stroll of the house. The Ambleside Walk begins from the town centre and includes a trail around the Stock Ghyll Force Waterfalls. Lacet House also offers free private parking.
